The telephone museum started in 1974 and shows the history of the dutch PTT in the region and city of Rotterdam.
Various types of communication equipment and the evolution are shown in word, pictures and speech.
A group of enthusiast and formerly retired personal of KPN works on the expanding of this museum.
Unique are the various types of complete equipment that also really works like local, home and office exchanges. Also working telephones, home and office networks, cord-switchingboards, telex and other communication equipment.

  • play with the telephones and other forms of communication.
  • take a seat as operator behind a switching board and try to connect.
  • make connections trough the telephone exchanges en try to follow it.
